This Privacy Policy explains what information BuyUpvotes ("we", "us") collects when you use buyupvotes.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. We wrote this in plain English so you can actually read it.

1. What we collect

  • Account info: email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
  • Order details: the target URL you submit (Reddit post, Product Hunt launch, Quora answer, Hacker News submission, etc.), quantity purchased, and delivery status.
  • Payment info: we accept cryptocurrency only, processed by NOWPayments. We never see your wallet private keys. We store only the transaction hash, currency, and amount needed to confirm your payment.
  • Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, IP address, browser type) used for fraud prevention and improving the site.
  • Support messages: anything you send us by email or through the dashboard contact form.

2. Why we collect it

  • To deliver the upvote orders you pay for.
  • To process payments and credit your account balance.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and chargeback attempts.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmations, delivery notices, password resets).

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers required to run BuyUpvotes:

  • NOWPayments — cryptocurrency payment processing.
  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • Email provider — transactional email delivery.
  • Upvote fulfillment partners — receive only the target URL and quantity needed to deliver your order. They never receive your email, name, or payment info.
  • Legal authorities — if required by a valid legal request.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your cart. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. We do not use advertising trackers or sell behavioral data to third parties.

5. How long we keep data

We keep order records for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years after, as required by tax and accounting laws. You can request deletion of your account at any time; we will anonymize personal fields while retaining the minimum required financial records.

6. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Regardless of where you live, you can:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Children

BuyUpvotes is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email.
